Queer Liverpool Round-Up // July 2019

It’s getting hot in here. July is set to swelter dear queers, so get drenched in this hot hot selection of Liverpool’s finest non-scene LGBTQ+ events.

We’re gearing up towards Pride in Liverpool on Saturday 27 July but we’re certainly not wishing the month away. There is LOADS to do and see throughout the entire month. So slap on the factor 50 and get ready to sizzle.

What’s queer and here in July?

Get your theatre on darlinks; watch new ideas at Mooncup’s Scratch ‘N’ Scran on 10 July and head to the Royal Court on 19 - 20 July for our Ashleigh’s hilarious and moving play HIP HIP I’M GAY! Plus, new play Masquerade will transport you back to Liverpool in 1986.

On Pride eve there is a veritable selection of events suitable for queers of all dispositions. Artsy queers can check out Pride x Tate Liverpool. Good time queers should head to Drag Cabaret at the Everyman. While party queers will find Liverpool’s alternative Pride party at District.

On to the big day itself, a few highlights are listed here. If you’d like to march but aren’t affiliated to any of the groups, we’d love you to join us.

Happy Pride one and all. We see you, we value you, we love you x
