REGULAR MONTHLY MEET

LIVELY, FRIENDLY FICTION BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP.

FOLLOW DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY: the address of the venue is Hanover St, but is actually JUST ROUND THE CORNER IN SEEL ST, opposite the side of big Tesco.
Turn left as you enter the venue, and we shall usually be sat on the long semi-separate table; if in doubt, ask at counter for Book Group.

NB. Though the management/staff of the cafe is lgbt+-friendly, it is a public cafe, though we are usually at that semi-separate table

ALL GENRES,SLIGHT EMPHASIS TO LGBTQ+ CONTENT.We have read thrillers, literary fiction, dystopian fiction, classics etc.

Part One:DISCUSSION ON SET BOOK:Mackenzi Lee"A Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue"; a Young Adult----ish, queer romp through 18th Century Europe.

Part Two: MATCHING THEME: travel writing. Bring your OWN choice and talk re it for a short while:)

Part 3: Books we have recently read and /or might recommend.

WE choose books in turn; if you have attended twice, you can choose a book!

EVENT FREE, but for MINIMUM PURCHASE: one drink

other hot/cold drinks
savoury snacks, including veggie
cakes.
